The Virginia Baptist Mission Board is seeking an Accountant to work in the Treasurer’s Office. An Accounting degree is preferred, though qualified candidates will be considered. Experience is essential. Ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be responsible, efficient, confidential and able to multi-task. Candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Blackbaud Financial Edge and Raiser’s Edge is preferred but not required. Responsibilities include: managing computer accounting systems, preparing information for the annual audit, general ledger review and maintenance, preparing month end accounting reports, annual budget preparation, payroll and employee benefits, and other tasks as required or needed.
