2012 Sojourner Summer Missionary
BE A SOJOURNER SUMMER MISSIONARY!
What is a Sojourner Summer Missionary?
* A young person between the ages of 16 (must have completed the 11th grade) and 21.
* Someone who would like to experience missions first-hand by assisting at our three inner-city Baptist Centers in Church Hill, Oregon Hill and in South Richmond.
* Wants to work with children, youth, and seniors in an inner-city environment in a variety of social ministries at all three Baptist Centers.
* Must be available for up to 10 weeks during the summer. The work schedule is flexible. A Sojourners will average about 20 hours a week, with some weeks being more intense than others.
* Willing to accept the challenge of a program that could be very formative in a choice of career or life in service.
* Earns a total of $ 750 for the summer.
