Our ministers group meets at 12:00 noon at the Piccadilly Cafeteria at 8004 W. Broad Street. This allows each person to order what they like and as much or as little as they like. And “Dutch Treat” allows us to do that. The agreement is that we will eat and talk and be finished by 1:30 p.m. You need to have lunch each day. Why not take one day a month to have lunch with your friends in the ministry?
There is not a planned program or speaker for the meeting. We just talk about the current issues facing us and what happened over the weekend. It is a good way to network and find out what others are doing. It is a good way to “vent” and get some sympathy and encouragement from our understanding peers. It is a good way to find out what is happening in other corners of the vineyard. All of us need some good Christian friends in our lives. You will find them at the monthly ministers’ luncheon on the first Wednesday of each month. I look forward to seeing you there.
