The January meeting of our RBA ministers was well attended at First Baptist Church. The meal was delicious and Dr. Charles Chandler presented an excellent program. We took time to briefly discuss the history of our monthly meetings and talked about the need for such a meeting. In the discussion, it seemed that Wednesday is not the best day for the meeting; therefore, we will have our next meeting on Tuesday, February 9, 12:00 noon at First Baptist Church, Boulevard and Monument.
There will not be a program as such. We would like to talk more about the validity of such a monthly meeting for the ministers of the RBA. The meeting is intended to be inclusive of all ministers, not just the senior pastor. I hope you will make an effort to come and share good food and fellowship as we discuss being a meaningful, collegial clergy community. This monthly gathering is intended for your benefit and personal fulfillment. Please give it a try.
