RBA Executive Council

Per RBA Constitution and Bylaws:

MEMBERSHIP
The Executive Council shall consist of the Moderator, Vice Moderator, Clerk, Treasurer, Immediate Past Moderator, Registrar, Historian, Legal Counsel, Missions Team Leader, all Ministry Council, and Work Team Leaders, W.M.U. Director, and the five members at large of the W.M.U. Executive Committee, the Association’s representatives on the Virginia Baptist Mission Board, the senior pastor from each member church, one (1) member elected by each member church, and one (1) additional member elected from each member church which has given $25,000 or more to the General Program and Week of Prayer offering of the Association during its previous fiscal year. No church shall be entitled to more than two (2) elected members in addition to the senior pastor on the Executive Council.

Each church shall elect its own Executive Council member(s) for a term of three years. Each church shall elect its own replacement for the un-expired term when a vacancy occurs among its Executive Council members during the year.

Each church may elect an alternate Executive Council member who may attend the meetings and may vote if the elected member is absent.

Membership List for 2007 - 2008 

MEETINGS
The Executive Council shall meet at least 4 times per year and upon call of the chair.

2008 Meetings are scheduled for Thursdays at noon:
February 21,   May 15,   August 21,  and November 20.
