WHO WE ARE

The Richmond Baptist Association (RBA) is an urban association composed of 72 churches and missions in the greater Richmond area of the City of Richmond, Hanover, Henrico and Chesterfield counties.  We are a multi-ethnic, multi-racial association inclusive of African-American congregations, as well as Brazilian, Cambodian, Chinese, Deaf, Korean and other international congregations.

The RBA operates three inner-city Baptist Centers in Church Hill, Oregon Hill, and South Richmond.  Since 1915 Camp Alkulana has operated as a summer camp for inner-city boys and girls from our Centers.

ANNUAL ASSOCIATIONAL "WEEK OF PRAYER" AND
"CAMP OFFERING"

The 2008 Week of Prayer for Associational Missions is May 19-25.  Many churches focus on collecting their annual associational offering during this week, but many prefer to collect this offering at other times during the year.  The RBA will be accepting contributions towards the 2008 Camp Offering through January 2009.  The goal for the "Camp Alkulana (Associational) Offering" has been increased to $95,000.00 for 2008.  Click here to view the promotional flyer and to find out how you can contribute.
